Overview

AATEEQ specializes in original antiques and historical objects. Due to the age, uniqueness, and condition-sensitive nature of these items, returns are handled with care and clarity to ensure fairness for both our clients and our business.

We strongly encourage customers to review all item details and consult with our specialists prior to completing a purchase.

10-Day Inspection Window

Customers have 10 days from the date of delivery to inspect their purchase and notify AATEEQ of any concerns regarding condition or accuracy of description.

This inspection window is provided to confirm that:

  • The correct item was received
  • The condition matches the listing
  • No undisclosed damage is present

The inspection window does not cover buyer’s remorse or change of mind.

Eligibility for Returns

A return may be considered only if:

  • The return request is made within 10 days of delivery
  • The item remains in the same condition as delivered
  • No alterations, restorations, or usage have occurred
  • Proof of purchase is provided

All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their nature, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items sold as final sale
  • Items with disclosed condition characteristics or age-related wear
  • Items purchased following consultation and confirmation
  • Custom sourcing, special requests, or commissioned acquisitions

Natural signs of age, patina, and wear consistent with antiques are not considered defects.

Authenticity & Descriptions

All items offered by AATEEQ are carefully reviewed prior to sale. Descriptions, images, and condition notes are provided in good faith to reflect each item accurately.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Subjective expectations
  • Normal antique characteristics
  • Buyer’s remorse

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs and a description of the issue.

AATEEQ will assess the claim and, where applicable, offer an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

Return Process

Returns must be approved in writing prior to shipment.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Return shipping:

  • Covered by AATEEQ only in cases of confirmed error or transit damage
  • Otherwise borne by the customer

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time is 7–10 business days
  • Additional bank or card processing times may apply

European Union Customers

For orders shipped to the European Union, statutory 14-day withdrawal rights apply where required by law, subject to applicable exemptions for unique, antique, or made-to-order goods.
