A charming example of mid-century Japanese craftsmanship, this lacquered jewelry box brings together function and decorative appeal. Made in Japan by Toyo between 1950 and 1970, it features a traditional scene on the lid with Mount Fuji, a pagoda, and surrounding landscape elements in gold and red lacquer tones. When opened, a small ballerina figure rotates to classical music in front of mirrored panels, offering a nostalgic and playful touch.

Its compact format includes two storage compartments lined in red velvet, ideal for rings, earrings, or small accessories. The original wind-up mechanism is located at the base, and the box comes with a working key for the lock.
