Vintage Bavarian Porcelain Fruit Baskets

This charming set of two vintage porcelain fruit baskets hails from Bavaria, Germany, and showcases the region’s renowned porcelain artistry from the mid-20th century. Though the bases are unmarked aside from an incised “B”, the style, weight, and craftsmanship, including the fine reticulated edges and floral decoration, clearly align with traditional Bavarian production, possibly as trial or factory sample pieces.

Each basket features vibrant, hand-painted floral garlands and a delicate openwork rim with elegant double handles, all accented with rich gold trim. Lightweight yet sturdy, these baskets are ideal for holding fruit, serving treats, or simply displaying as decorative centerpieces.
