A Bit of History:
Born in the 1960s out of France’s national telephone research center (CNET), the Socotel S63 was the country’s first fully standardized telephone. Before it, every French home had a different model depending on the region and provider. The S63 changed that, it was modern, reliable, and mass-produced.
By the late 1970s, it was a familiar sight in every French hallway, office, or café, humming with the sound of dial tones and whispered secrets. It even introduced features ahead of its time, like adjustable ringers and lightning protection; chic and smart, the French way.

The Socotel S63 is not just a phone, it’s a conversation piece, a slice of design history, and a whisper from the analog era, when every ring carried a bit of charm.
